"Euro" pattern is not what the horizontal cutoff on a projector is. Euro pattern is a completely different light pattern than what thr DOT spec calls for. EEC/ECE markings on headleights dictate what countries they are legal in with regards to direction of traffic flow and other issues. NO JDM, UK, or Austrailian spec headlights are legal or safe to use in the USA or any other "right side" drive countries and vice-versa. This can't be corrected by aiming the headlights. You will be blinding everyone coming towards you. Many importers are selling the cheaper euro or "JDM" housings and implying they're better. They're not. They're just plain unsafe. You need to check the code for this reason.

Yes, what you say is true, that you have to swap out the headlights when going from right side to left side countries and vice-versa (something I learned from Wheeler Dealers :) ) But I think we were using the term "euro" to try to describe the light pattern that has a distinct cut off line.
