Detroit tru trac is great on the street, had one for 2 seasons. Car drives good, and lights up both tires on demand. QP sells them, they set up my center section for my rear

just so you know there are other options..my son put a lock-rite in his turbo buick..it works pretty slick..goes right in an open carrier..easy to do..it does have a few drawbacks..you can hear it ratchet some times..not real loud but noticable..just make sure you dont get the off-road one that one is really loud..but they hold up to track abuse..one other note he noticed on a slippery surface going uphill it wants to lockup...under power it locks up right now!!..nice unit..we were very skeptical..but it works..lol..good luck

full spool, a mini spool will just grenade the carrier at the cross pin.

the effects of a spool street driving are negligible, unless you have slicks and it's raining.
