Torque converter thight on pump hard to spin. But spins freely on old trans

What Trans?
Possibly a problem in the Pump, Gear clearance etc..

Sorry, 350 Trans fresh rebuild. Checked jump gears spin nice and all greased up

Front internal thrust clearance/end play check Ok?
There are 2 different type Pumps, 1 uses a Washer & 1 uses a Bearing behind Pump.
If they get mixed up it can cause binding.
Should probably have the Builder check it out.

Does the new Trans have an Electrical connector on the left side?
Input Shaft look like 1st or 2nd Pic?

Wondering If one's a 350C..

Pic two. Also just took pump off and still can't get it to go on its got to be the bushing but I put it on right

If this is a Boss Hoss Alabama converter I have had 2 of them in the past that had over sized hubs, even a uninstalled new pump bushing would not fit the hub. I wont sell them anymore. You defiantly get what you pay for.
