I have a 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo with a small block Chevy 400 on a 700 R4 Transmission I would like to know the exact detent cable that I need for the 700R4 transmission to a Holley carburetor I have the Holley carburetor bracket 20 - 95 how long should do detent cable be I cannot get Full Throttle with the cable that I have now ? THANKS

On a TV cable there is no "exact" length each has to be adjusted to the trans for the shift points to work correctly.

That is why there are multiple adjustment positions on the cable itself.
