Hi I just put a 700r4 in my 80 malibu with a support that is for the 700r4 in this body style. I used my old 400 transmission mount. and had to change drive shaft which was 51&3/4 inch from end to end. I think a 350 turbo yoke is the same as a 700. the 400 turbo is different. 700 transmission is very close but fits. I did how ever need to trim the fire wall trim that sticks out about a inch. but onlyon the coiners where the sides of bell housing fitts. also there' s apiece of metal that sticks out of both sides of the transmission bell housing with a hole in the center. my builder choose to cut these off while building transmission I suggust you do the same hope this helps.
