Is there any guides here on how to remove the th350 gearbox without removing the engine?
or anyone here can tell me how to do it if its possible?

never had this problem before, but I just recently changed from a 305 to 350, I didn't do much to my gearbox but change oil and since then I've a issue when going uphill but no problem going on a normal road so I guess its something to do with my gearbox, anyone had similar problems?
anyways I'm new to cars so any help will be appreciated!

thanks,
dixon

You'll need to remove:
Remove Driveshaft & prepare for fluid to run out.
Remove the Detent/Kickdown cable from Carb. Also any Wiring from Trans.
Remove the Dipstick Tube unless you have the Vehicle very high or on a Lift.
Support the Engine so it doesn't drop down, Jack & Board under Oil Pan. You should remove the Distributor so it doesn't get crushed if the Engine does drop, which can make removing the Bellhousing bolts easier. Looong Extensions & Ratchet.
Place a Trans Jack under the Trans Pan.
Unbolt the Torque Converter, Trans in Neutral so you can turn the Flexplate.
Remove the Trans Crossmember.
Unbolt the Bellhousing Bolts.
Lower away.
Maybe I didn't forget anything other than small things you can see, like Exhaust, if so someone will catch it.

Always be safe, use Jackstands & chock the Wheels when needed.
