Guys I have a th350 and was wondering which line coming out of the trans is the pressure side and which is the return line?I'm installing a trans cooler in my plow truck and would like to incorperate both the aftermarket cooler and the radiator cooler.I believe it would be best to run through the rad.cooler then the aftermarket cooler then back to the trans or do any of you run them aftermarket cooler then rad.then back to the trans? My thinking on this is to cool the best way.Thanks...John

Not sure which is pressure and I which is return on the th350...but the set up I have on my th400 is...trans to radiator, out of radiator to auxiliary cooler, than back to trans...my temp gauge is mounted in the pan and has never hit over 175* no matter how hard I pound on it...as for the cooler im using, I went to the parts store (napa, advanced auto ect.) And just got the biggest cooler they had...was only like 35 bucks if I remember corectly

that is how I was thinking, too.thanks for reply.I called a Trans.rebuilder today, also. He recommended that on the th350 to run the lines...Bottom out of trans is pressure so bottom line to rad.bottom fitting, then rad.top line to bottom of aft.mrkt.cooler,then cooler top to trans return(which is the upper line going into trans.I guess this is so the fluid is pushed through instead of gravity working at least through those coolers....Thought I'd share.... :)

Helps keep air out of the system is why GM runs the fluid that way.
Most all RWD GM trans use the same flow pattern except the 2004R.
TH200-4R is Top = Out, Bottom = In.
TH250/350, TH200/200C, TH375/400, TH425, TH700R4/4L60/60E/65E, TH4L80E/85E are reverse. Top = In, Bottom = Out.
Always Out of Trans to Bottom of Rad.
