looking at the diagrams, would a 700r4 be a better fit to replace a th200 than a 200 4r? both need the wiring kit for the lockup, but the 700 looks like an easier mount physically in this diagram. Any one swapped either of these trannys in place of the 200?

The 700r will require some fab work on your crossmember a driveshaft cut-n-balance. The 200r4 swap will require a stock crossmember from a 200r4 car and frame extension but you can re-use your driveshaft.

thanks! I think I'm going to go with the 2004r when I get a chance to find one and time to swap them out...great info on here
