Most dont know but i have recently been introduce to Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) cowboy shooting. These pictures were taken at my second match 3/19/11. I improved my stage average time by 10 seconds from my first shoot. I ended up coming 44th out of 61 shooters. these arent the best pics but there really isnt a good way to get a good picture

this was stage two. picture of shot gun (lots of black powder smoke)

same stage just pistol

i did stage 2 in 27.21 seconds. my personal best time for a stage

here are a few more. this one is a pic of me and my friend that introduced me to SASS

hey, thats really cool. I've done it too. I bought a .357 vaquero and a coach gun and i really enjoy the sport. More for the fun and fellowship than competition. Here is some pics of me at a shoot near saskatoon saskatchewan.

oh yeah when i go i dont really care about the time. its nice when you do a fast stage but its not that important to me there are some guys that when they are at the loading table if you speak to them they go crazy because they want to get into their zone. (there are only 2 people like that down here and they shoot 12.5- 14 second stages ) but i just go to have fun and b.s. with friends

No, I didn't have it back then. I actually used the stainless Ruger 10/22 that is on the shooting bench to take out the armadillo. It took about 5 shots with the 10/22. That critter is tough! hammer_head.gif

I believe the AR will be much more effective with the next one.
