Does anyone know of any bad side effects of using e85???

Just the availability. I have drove mine all year on it. Not had any corrosion issues, because I drive it regularly, the car runs cool and makes great power. I love the stuff, much cheaper than race fuel or 93 octane for that matter. Of course your car has to be up to the task so if you have to upgrade a bunch of things that might be a slight drawback.

my car used to run hot, put the blower on, changed to E-85 and put an electric water pump on. Now even in the South Carolina heat it run like a champ. only side effect is more smoke from the rear tires....
