Ok try to bare with me through this because I don't really know the names of these parts but I'm wanting to switch to the sweep style gauge bezel and I need to know if it will work with what I have. This is the bezel I have now
But I don't know if the sweep style bezel will attach to the back piece. Hopefully this makes sense. Lol

you have to remove the entire cluster from the dash and replace it with a sweep style cluster.

the sweep style speedo will no work in that cluster

After that you will have to rewire everything so that your lights fuel gauge blinker etc work again

I'm not going to be using any of the stock gauges and the car has been completely required, I'm just trying to find out if the sweep style face plate will fasten to the other. I'm planning on doing some sort of custom gauge panel. Thanks for the help though.

the face plate will fit but your headlight switch may be in the wrong spot

The sweep style "bucket" is different than the round gauge bucket. The bezels will not interchange on the bucket.

Where you located? I have a good sweep bucket and bezel.

I'm in Crawfordsville Indiana. I might already have a line on one but I'm interested.

I think I have a spare sweep style out of a 79 if interested. Im lookin to do something to my 78 sweep style with aftermarket gauges. Maybe out of sheet metal, don't want to cough up 300 dollars for a plastic pod.
