I know a lot of you guys are using Pontiac dashes in your cars. Ive been looking for a replacement dash for my wagon and so far no luck. I looked at an ad for a Regal yesterday. The Buick dash might be a choice if I cant find a Monte or Malibu dash soon. What do you do as far as the harness ? Do you need the Buick harness with the dash ? Is this going to be a gigantic can of worms that Im better off not opening ?? Im not even sure how the Buick dashes change from year to year. Any advice ?

Thanks for the offer but since I didn't get any replies Ive pretty much decided on looking for a Malibu dash just to make my life easy.

Monte Carlo is the same if you didn't know. I believe the bulk of the ducting is the same on all, with the last several inches being routed to the vents for each individual dash. I used the original '78 ductwork in mine, and the LeMans dash had some short round tubing to the vents. Other than that it went right in without any troubles. I had to re-pin for the LeMans cluster, but the colors for the lights/gauges are the same across all G-Bodies, so make sure you have the plugs for the respective dash. I think there are a couple pics of when I re-pinned the dash for mine in my build thread.
