Any upgrades that can be done to a 87 350tbi to give it a lil more kick without rebuilding the motor?

Without a full on rebuild definitely. Vortec heads/intake (with a TBI adapter plate), xe268 cam and you'll be around 375hp. You can gt that from TBI but EFI ain't cheap. You can get an EBL from DynamicEFI.com, the accompanying wideband O2 sensor kit, and run a '96-'97 Vortec truck pump (direct replacement) along with 80lb. injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. You'll need a bung for he O2 sensor installed somewhere near the collector. This should be all you need for more performance from your TBI. You can run other head/intake combos if you want, but that cam/head combo is good for a very streetable setup. You won't get much from an OE TBI setup because it has to have a tune to run properly. If the tune is wrong it's like running the wrong size jets...
