Late to the show, but there is an adapter to mount a T56 to the old school bellhousing... you just need an LS style input shaft (easily changed) and an extended pilot bushing. This way you can use stock G-Body bellhousing and clutch mechanicals. You should be able to just use a regular 153-tooth flywheel too with a 10.5" clutch that has a 1.125" x 26 spline opening.
