Quick question for the pros ... I have the opportunity to purchase a c molly drive shaft with 1330s at 52 1/8 (center cap to center cap)
mine measures 52 7/16 (center cap to center cap) will this shaft direct bolt to a stock TH 350 and stock 10 bolt 7.5 posi and if so
will the slight difference in length be an issue?

Thanks Jeff

Proper way to measure for a driveshaft. Insert yoke in to transmission completely, pull it out 1", measure center to center distance.

If you are going to a moly shaft why not 1350's? If you plan on sticking with the 7.5, I would not bother upgrading drive shafts - chances are the spider gears or axles will fail before the driveshaft does.

I don't remember what a factory 7.5 came with, probably something like a 534G or 1310, possibly a combo joint. Yoke on your 7.5 is not a 1330 unless someone swapped it prior to you owning it.

That shouldn't be a issue. My car ran 11.80's with the stock drive shaft and rear end with a eaton locker and 4.11 gears. I wouldn't waste time or money on a stock rear. AS said above. When I put the ford 9" in my car I now have 1350 yokes and u joints on both sides of the driveshaft so I KNOW I won't break one.

Ive been running a stock v6 drive shaft with solid 1310 U joints for years. Hundreds of Low low 10's and a hand full of 9.7's on spray. Not saying do as I do, but it works. If I had a 1350 shaft and yokes I would swap.
