Anyone know the GM Part Number for the Block Clamshell Engine Mount for a 1978 Malibu V8 or have a picture of the correct one? :?:

Thanks!

Any V-8 car will have the mount. Truck is different, so dont' get those!!!!
Whats the difference? I'm curious because I have several sets and don't know the original application.

Truck Clam shell mount will set the motor up a few inches higher the ones from a Car.

It look like any 73 up V-8 mount will fit except the 3 generation Camaro. 68 thru 72 mounts in cars are different and all trucks.

Truck mounts are taller and in my 79 they also leaned the motor slightly to the side.

They're discontinued from GM, but the part numbers are 10213125 L/H, 14039436 R/H. The stamping numbers on them are 334970 & 334971. IDK if it's accurate or not, but I've read stamping number 459021 will interchange. IDK if these fit, they look the same, but Summit has OER repop engine mount brackets for F-body cars:

As long as they measure 2" from the top edge of the mounting bolt to the flat area that bolts to the block, you are good. I have pics but they are "too large" to post.
