vacuum distributor or non vacuum

my old 406 30 over cast dish pistons small cam 327 heads air gap intake hp750 carb stock plugs gap at 35 1-5/8 headers coan 2800 stall 9 inch 370 gears 275 drag radial I run a stock vacuum gm distributor with a 125 shot plate timing set at 10 degree base and run 113 gas it worked good my new 406 30 over 11.1 wiseco forged pistons lunati 560/565 roller hyd cam dart shp aluminum heads 64cc 200cc runners 202/160 valves same intake and carb with a 175 shot plate same gears and a hughes 3500hd stall so what is better for new motor a vacuum msd distributor or non vacuum one and should I set up my header size to 1-3/4 or keep the 1-5/8 do drive a bit on the street any help would be great happy new year to everyone
