V6 headers

I tried the proper V6 header install on my 231.
The driver's side fit in 15 minutes.
The passenger side was beat to death to fit, only to find the flanges were off over 1/2 inch. ](*,)

I'll NEVER try that again. :twisted:

Which headers where they? the hedman 68410's ?? cause i was looking at getting those for my GP

Try Pacesetter 70-1093 (painted) or 72C1093 (coated).

Really? :? I tried a set of "Summit" headers on the Malibu, I believe they're actually Flowtech. Either way, we had to pound the crap out of one of the headers to get it to fit, even though the guide said they'd fit G-Bodies (designed for 3rd gen. F-Bodies). After seeing how awful angle the driver's side collector was at, I went back to long tubes for now.

SO...

I'm still on the hunt for a pair of shorties I can use that will allow me to use mechanical clutch linkage.
