Anyone have experience with a carbed turbo 231?

I have a chance to get a 82 T-type car for parts. I would drop the engine into a jeep CJ7.

How are these carb'd turbo's? I know they are anemic compaired to SFI, but I can get it for cheap!

Looks like '82 was a better year, but no great increase in power.
