Hello from the south suburbs of Chicago! My name is Chuck and I think I saved this car from a car killer. The guy said he loved the car but as I'm finding out he didn't take very good care of it. Luckily he didn't drive it much since he had it. I got it home Saturday gave it some love, checked it out/made sure it was safe and then took it to the track Sunday! Shifts nice, goes straight and sounds a lot meaner than it actually is! Haven't made up my mind for the future but for now I'll have some fun turning a wrench and make it mine.

Still figuring out everything with the car. The only thing I know for sure so far is that it's a 327 (supposedly a L79) with a 350 trans. 11:1 compression with a Lunati Cam. I'm sure I'll learn more this winter when it's in the garage. I have a pretty good amount of suspension work to do to get the car to launch better but it's a fun car and there is no rush.
