Where is the best place to buy a LS2 long block,
Everything on ebay is a complete motors, and all of the forums are just individual parts

what parts dont ya want, a long block is not going to be much cheaper, you might look on ls1tech.com

I can buy numerous LQ9's for $900. They are complete minus bolt on accessories and ECU's. They all have between 30,000-50,000 miles on them.

I am going to run a carb, so is this a good deal.

I would jump on it, they're about $1,500+ in my area. You'll be hard pressed to find a core of such a 'young' engine compared to a Gen 1 350 or even a Vortec 350. Keep in mind the 6.0 has only been around since like '99 I believe, maybe '00 or '01

To run the MSD ignition, do I still need the factory wiring harness? Just now getting into the LS series motors, and obviously do not know much about them
