Im going to give this a shot and want to know what it takes and what things to expect. I want to install a LS1 with the overdrive trans into a wagon with A/C and all. I know it takes motor mounts and trans mount. And also a notch on the frame to clear the A/C compressor.
What about the fuel system? i would like to use a in tank pump and would like everything to work. any advice part #'s or pics would be a huge help in the planning for this. Thanks

which years are the best? I seen a 99 vette engine for sale for $1800 w/40,000 miles? Also I know most of the newer ones are lfy by wire, would I need a cable throttle body?

'02up ls1's use the ls6 block(better oiling system)and intake(rated at like 345hp i think). like malibu9in said, use the search on ls1tech.com tons of useful info.
