I know Ive seen it before but cant remember where and I cant seem to find it. I know to fit an LS1 pan in a gbody the frame has to be notched, I would like to know if anybody actually measured what they cut off, and if anybody thinks it might weaken the already almost 40yr old frame at all?

Why hack the frame and weaken it? The Holley pan fits and clears with plenty of room. The CTS-V pan may also work, but not 100% sure.

There are guys running the fbody pan without notching the frame, I think the DirtyDingo plates are the best fit for it to work

Ok thanks for the info. Before I buy anything to swap I guess Ill have to do a test fit. I was hoping not to do that and just pull the 350 out and drop the LS in, but I guess that's not going to happen.
