Hello, I am the new kid on the block. I bring with me my newest member of the family 1980 Malibu.... she is not much of a looker dressed in primer but she is rust free and is pretty well in tact. She was about to become a pure race car but I think she belongs out cruising..... I have an intro in the freshman hallway. A very good friend of mine sold her to me to join my other toys.

The plan thus far is to get everything together and get her straight, ready for paint where another friend can lay down some color (not sure of color yet) fortunately I have time for that.

There will be an Ls drivetrain for this build I have a 5.3 that will be gone through along with a small cam....
Fresh forged shortblock
TSP 224/224 cam, 114°+3
Ls2 timing chain
Need some 317 heads soon
Victor Jr., plenum, billet fuel rails, 60lb mototrons
Ported stock TB and MAF,3 bar
ARP head studs
Ls9 headgaskets
Powerbond crank pulley
Roller trunions
T 76 turbo, tial wastegate 50mm (maybe)
4L80E , 3200 stall and large cooler
3" down pipe to dual MagnaFlows (GN style exhaust)
Aluminum radiator w/ Ls1 fans
''02 Trans Am dash and complete harness front to back(gotta figure out AC)
'98-'02 Trans Am center console
'98 Formula cloth seats
Fortunately, I have a good amount of these parts in storage, minus the dash and turbo equipment. This build will definitely take a YEAR to do........
The Bu is sitting on:
TRZ bars
12-bolt, 4.10s and posi will either sell or just swap the gears to 3.42
C6 vette wheels 4 fronts
Drop spindles
F body calipers /C5 rotors up front, hybrid bracket
Stainless brake lines ( in boxes, might be the wrong length)
EFI tank w/ dual pumps and feed line
I will be adding to this thread in time with pictures and new parts.....

Some things may change especially the dash swap since I cannot seem to find resolution with AC control

First things first, freshen up the engine bay.... and put the AC back in it cause I live in the desert
