I just picked up a LS1/4L60e combo from a 1998 Camaro, What is the best bang for buck Standalone computer/Harness setup ? I have the computer from the car but the harness was all hacked up, and I think between the harness and the tune for the computer it might be worth it to just buy a standalone setup...

Looked up a couple vendors that have been around a while (Speartch and Howell) and they're both pretty much the same for a harness, around $700-800. If you want to do custom tuning later on you could get HPTuners, but I think it's about the same as the harness. I think a mail order tune for a stock/bolt-on engine is a few hundred, from what I've seen on the full size pickup sites.

streetandperformance(hotrodlane.cc), and while you're at it get the harness and PCM for a 99' instead of 98' due to better tuning capabilities.
