I have a 1980 Malibu and I'm going to install the lokar emergency brake warning indicator switch http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/lok-ehb-7001 and I was warning if the stock brake warning light in the dash has a 12v wire feeding at all times when the ignition key is on and uses the ground wire to complete the circuit or, has a constant ground wire going to it and has a switched 12v source when the ignition is on?

Thanks

The parking brake switch completes the ground circuit.
