can someone tell me how long that rod that slips inside the booster to the back of the stock power brakes master cylinder is suppose to be?

I can measure mine later when I get home. I have the booster and rod sitting on the garage floor next to the car.

It seems like there are 2 types, a 4" for manual brakes and a 2 5/8" for power brakes.

I'd call and see if you can get the dimensions of the pins in that kit. The listing is for a '69 Nova and a lot of other models too, btw.
