17 x 8 with zero offset and 275/40 rubbed on my Grand Am, tried for the #### of it, 245/45 on 17 x 8 touched slightly on the frame at full lock.

I run 245/45 R17 on 17" x 8" with 5" BS, but I have B-body spindles that add roughly 3/8" track. I can all but guarantee that size tires will rub the inside fender & the wheels may hit the A-arms.

I'm pretty sure I will have to trim sheet metal on the front part of the fender.
I will pic up some spacers too.
Tommy
Got any picturs u can post up with wheel straight and at full lock both directions?
Honestly though how often is a car @ full lock on a dd car?

Picked up a 17x9 with 5"bs test fitted the bare rim rim clears averything. Probly have to trim front bottom lip of the fender for the tire. At full lock the tire will rub the back side of the a arm which my current tires in sig do at full lock probly grab a 1/4" spacer to help limit. That problem
Will post pictures tonight

Let us know what size tire you go with... also what height is the car at (pics?)? I hit full lock all the time navigating parking lots.

I'd stay away from the Coopers. They don't stick anywhere as well as the BFGs or the Kumhos & theyr wear faster.
