I actually pulled it out of the garage and took her for a spin around the neighborhood. I bought a used Holley 3310-2 carb to replace the Demon that was not very friendly to drive. Bought a rebuild kit about 2 years ago and finally finished. I forgot what crisp throttle response was all about. Also had to install new diaphragm in the regulator from sitting so long.

After almost 2 years, back surgery, and a new job, I pushed the finished frame back under the car and will start lowering the body back down on it next weekend when I'm back from a business trip. Only 4 mounts on the body didn't need repair! What a royal PITA

I removed the horn pad, cleaned it, and sprayed with SEM light oak. It looks better than it did.

Does blowing sawdust off of them count towards "working" on them, lol? I had to cut some boards yesterday and put a nice layer of sawdust on both of them in the garage. Whoops.

Just ordered tires for it. Don't even have the wheels the fit the tires but they were on clearance for $84 each for 275/35/18 so I couldn't pass it up :)

I pulled the steering wheel off today. I'm cleaning to to paint with SEM light oak to match the rest of the interior. While it's off I plan to check the ignition switch.

jammed the toyota motor back in it and my buddy and I pushed it out and turned it around and stuffed it in the other side "cold side" of my garage. That build is on the back burner until I can bring it up to my shop to do all the heavy fab work.

put my tercel on the "work" side...since well I drive it often and that side has the electric garage door opener  i'm tired of having a few extra things to do to leave and arrive. I am back to button status!

Started taking off the dash to repair some problems. I'll give more details as I figure things out.

I had problems with the E Brake handle pulling through the dash. I took a body shim and reformed it. I bent the top over and shortened the legs on it. With the handle in the dash, I slipped the shim over the back of plastic , placing it next to the back side of the dash. Now the handle won't pull out.

When I put a dash cap on my dash, I had problems with getting the screws in the holder on the firewall. So while everything is loose, I drilled holes from under the dash. This got the screws in the right place and the dash is very secure. I now need to fill 2 holes in the defroster vent.
