Talking 2 doors only not wagons or Caminos

What works with the Pontiac LeMans 2 door?

I know the Malibu is a Malibu only due to the shorter frame horns

But what about the LeMans?

Any one have any ideas or know if the chassis from an 81-88 Monte will fit without mods?

Thanks

I know Lemans and Malibu are the same length frame and monte Carlos and cutlass, regal ,etc are 2 or 3 inch longer at the front frame horns.

78-81 Malibu and 78-80 LeMans/Grand Am were designated "A Body" chassis. All were designated "G Body" after 81. 78+, Monte, Cutty, Regal and GP were "A/G Special" chassis due to the longer front frame horns.

this frame info should be a sticky.

I agree, once it is correct. I don't see how the 81 Lemans can be different when they used the same doors and fenders as the earlier years. Not saying it is not different, because I don't know for sure.

I tried to get some input with the post below. It would be really helpful to know for sure.
