#### shame that he isn't keeping it and enjoying it. Hope whoever buys it doesn't tear it up.

If that car is worth $6,500 then mine is worth $18,000! Woo hoo! I'm RICH!

That'd be a nice one to get and just leave it alone. What's up with the black seatbelts? My very first Malibu was camel tan, just like that, but with tan seatbelts. That interior is practically flawless!

In 78- Did a Malibu Classic (like this car) come with a non-Landau B-pillar? I guess so.

I like it as an example of original.
I wish there was an engine pic.

It doesn't show, but probably, just pushed into the bottom floor plastic trim. Like mine is.

If it was local and I could see it in person, I would seriously consider it at $6500, good undorked-with examples are getting tough to find, and I prefer not to have to fix the butchery that usually comes with lower priced cars.

Supposedly 78s all got black belts. The 78 wagon I have here has black belts in a camel interior.

They did all get black cluster bezels for 78.

Landau was an option on / above the Malibu Classic model, there were lots of non-Landau Classics built

I got a set of black belts for someone out of a silver slant back Cutlass with a bright red interior.

My current 78 had baby blue belts in it when I bought which matched the interior.

For 1978, deluxe color keyed seat belts were an extra cost option, standard equipment were black.
