I took the body off my donor grand prix framer. It took about 3 hours total including running home to grab the utility and car trailer to bring both halves home. amazingly while all the body bolts zipped right out, I will have to repair about half of the body mount bolts. Im fine with that as they are easy to do and cheap. At least now my Monte will have a nice straight frame. I plan to box it, notch it and reinforce all the critical pick up points before dropping my Monte body back on it.

I also wrapped up my Holley Sniper conversion.

Still getting situated in my new garage/home, so it's going slow. Nice to at least have 2 of my cars under one roof! Was going to bring my wagon home, but it's been VERY cold here the past couple weeks (like lows in the NEGATIVE teens at night, with highs during the day between 0 and 6). Next nice day (at least in the 30's), I'll bring her home and snap a pic!!

I worked o polishing the back window. It's pretty bad, I will probably need to replace it. This a new experience, so I'll work on it for awhile.

I actually pulled it out of the garage and took her for a spin around the neighborhood. I bought a used Holley 3310-2 carb to replace the Demon that was not very friendly to drive. Bought a rebuild kit about 2 years ago and finally finished. I forgot what crisp throttle response was all about. Also had to install new diaphragm in the regulator from sitting so long.

After almost 2 years, back surgery, and a new job, I pushed the finished frame back under the car and will start lowering the body back down on it next weekend when I'm back from a business trip. Only 4 mounts on the body didn't need repair! What a royal PITA

Does blowing sawdust off of them count towards "working" on them, lol? I had to cut some boards yesterday and put a nice layer of sawdust on both of them in the garage. Whoops.
