foam in the fuel tank, is it the way to go? I mean it is full, not just a small piece like I envisioned. it keeps running through my mind about the foam coming apart and gumming up everything, then I think well, a lot of people are doing it so it must have some worth, maybe an oval racing type thing. give me your thoughts, all help is appreciated...wannabe

I'm using in my fuel cell. I came in it from the place I bought it. I don't really care one way or the other but at least the fuel won't slosh around. I have run cells without it with no issues also. I guess what I'm trying to say , is if it comes in it and doesn't cost extra- go for it. I wouldn't add it or pay more.

The foam has been in my fuel cell for 14 years.

I've never seen it break down, but I have seen plastic pickup tubes get brittle and fall apart once.

I've heard of people using wuffle balls in fuel cell. To stop the sloshing.

That's' probably not a horrible idea, would keep it under a little more control, but you have to wonder if that plastic is going to hold up like something that's designed to be used with fuel.
