I have hunted because I was sure there was a thread/post with a list of potential donor vehicles. If it existed, I cannot find it. It had pictures of the identifying marks and other helpful information. Can someone repost or link it? Thanks.

Okay. I found the "tech" page with the pictures I was thinking of here; http://www.maliburacing.com/aluminum_support.html
Still don't know where I saw the rest though.

Of the eight that I have personally seen/bought, all but 2 came from Buick century/regals of 78/79. The other 2 were from Grand Prixs..one 79, and one 80 (was not original to the car as it had different color overspray on it).

Here's a pic of one in it's natural state...not all are stamped with the A, but all are easily recognized by the horrible plug welds

Here's a picture of the one I got from a '78 Grand Am:

Oh, my aluminum core support has no "A" stamped on it, and the welds are horrible!
