ARE THERE ANY HOOD OPTIONS OUT THERE EXCEPT COWL HOODS?

I'm in need of more hood clearance (BBC with Air-Gap). Do I have any options except typical 2" and up cowl hoods?

Anyone found/fabricated other types of hoods?

Thanks.

How about the scoop from a '69 SC/Rambler dancin_banana.gif

up22 only has cowl hoods for our cars, GN might not be enough and I want something more functional, Rambler scoop is a bit ugly in my opinion. I would like something like Camaro SS or GTOs came with. I was told I can't put a fiberglass scoop on a metal hood because the attachment lines will develop cracks.

VFN has a Stingray style hood.

I love that Stingray hood. How is VFN quality? Can I reuse my original brackets and hood latch on fiberglass?

VFN makes good stuff and they've been around for decades. The original hinges are used and the original latch is used. I would suggest using the gas struts instead of springs.
