Narrowing the bumpers

decided to narrow the bumpers before painting the car. Still a ways from paint but getting there,

we also moved the front bumper back one inch

I was thinking of doing the same thing,but i just did know how much to take out. Can you give me some specs on how much you took out? How did you bring the front bumper in 1 inch? I was thinking 1 1/2 inch on both sides,but wasn't sure.

Great work and looks great =D> I pretty much did the same thing with my 80. I only took 1 1/8" from each end and also moved the bumpers in closer by 1/2". Had to fab new rear mounts as the alum. was too far gone. Trimmd the end and horizontal fillers back to fit also. Rechroming cost me a small fortune :-& Plan on paint or chrome? Nice job!!!

We still have tons of body work to do on the doors and the front end. Its getting done slowly but surely.
