X2 I think they are longer but never actually measured. If you have access to one, you could take some measurements with a tape measure and compare them to your malibu.
Yup, body lines are much different. Malibu has one line in the center, Monte has 3 lines, 1 in the center and 2 about half way out. So it won't match your header panel
if you use m/c ss nose; hood lines up? I have access to nose and rad support; i am looking to use it on regal '83
