How was your header clearance with the Bzdel pedal and the F body master cylinder? I have the McLeod 139001 original version. I guess I'll just make a firewall reinforcing plate for the master cylinder.

I had no issues with the Bdzel pedal with any configuration. And I also used a firewall reinforcing plate. Mine was not large enough. Over do the plate. Spread the pedal load. Ill beat that tube flat to make this work. I will NOT take no or 80lb pedal effort for an answer. Im stubborn

80# pedal effort?! What clutch did you use? I have a Ram Force 10.5 Street dual disc. It's supposed to have just a little less to slightly heavier than stock pedal pressure and feel.

I had heard that about the SPEC units and some others, that's why I went with the Ram dual disc. It's overkill for my application, but should outlive me!

So I now have reverse light circuit working and fuel gauge. Im sure more works but thats all I have tested so far. Just trying to see some of the longer wire runs and how they worked out. Ill never rewire a car EVER again. Not even for money.

Few progress pics. The back of the interior is done and more or less installed. I know header wrap is not great but I dont care... cuz I like it.

They are AFR Oval Magnums. Raised ports.

Lookin' good.
I'm having trouble placing that post in the last pic. Where is it, and is it a ground?

Its a ground lug right on top of the trans tunnel in front of the shifter. It will be hidden under the dash. I was tired of ground to anything I could find. That will tie in to chassis, block and body.

So I was testing more circuits. I have turn signals, brake lights, and lights. All the gauges work. What does not work and is kicking my a ss is the stupid dome light. The painless harness looks dummy proof. Nope. Its a closed loop circuit with 3 grounds and as a former Electronics tech from the Corps, this is sad that I cant make it work. When I bought the car it was disabled and a switched light system under the dash had been installed. Im determined to open a door and have a light come on. How hard can it be?

Dome light circuit is working. Both doors and the headlight switch turn it on. I am ready to stab the dash back in.
