Not really anything Malibu-related, though I did reattach the rod from the outside handle to the latch on the passenger door the other day while helping with the barn... this is where we're at as of today. Another inspection to be done, then probably putting in skylights and starting work on doors/roofing/siding and electrical.

Aside from the cement, we've done everything ourselves (2 of us). 12' ceiling, plenty of room for a lift 8)

OK, why did you use plywood on the corners but OSB on the rest of it?

I believe he was told the plywood has to be there to strengthen the corners, it gets pretty windy out here. It's overbuilt for a shop/barn though, it's not going anywhere :D

Thanks :)

Picked this up yesterday, going to try to make the upper control arms work, not sure about the geometry though. It's an 8.5", pretty sure it's a B-Body, seller said it's an '84.

I took this pic just after loading it up, haven't really looked past that. Can anyone help with the codes? I haven't been able to find anything about this one specifically, and I'm wondering if the whole code is there. I think the code visible is 4YD G40 with a very faint 8 or 3 at the right end.

Well it's taken me getting engaged to get something going with the car  Planning on driving it for the wedding :D I didn't have time to mess with it today (wedding stuff) but I was able to track down the lifetime warranty through Autozone's system (in-store) for the clutch I bought probably 15 years ago. I'm not sure what's wrong with it until I pull the trans, but I'm hoping to get to that either Wednesday or Saturday... then I just swap for the new one at the store.

Ok resized, no more browser rape.

I forgot to mention I popped the cover off the rear, it's an open 3.08... not a big deal but it's what I got to work with... when all is said & done it'll probably have a TrueTrac and 3.73s.

So a little update...

... we got a little done on the barn.

Today I finally got the Malibu moved in too, and got started on the cleanup... there are a handful of things I want to have done by the wedding (fix the clutch, clean out rat crap, temporary seat covers, carpet, little other things), but eventually I should have the 8.5 and T5 in too.
