i got a 79 coupe with an iron block, aluminum head bbc, dont know the weight on the front yet. i have the moroso sbc trick front springs and the car looks like it fell asleep on the floor. what are you guys running with this combo on the street / strip. i have a ladder bar / coil over set up, i still want it to hit hard on the track, but i would like to drive faster than 20 mph (37 km/h for you canadians) on these shtty chicago streets.

Usually an aluminum head BBC is more or less a swap for a stock smogger iron head SBC.. I'd lose the trick springs...

when I had my other malibu I used the stock small block springs. I had an alum headed 468. Car rode like it did with a small block in it. Rode nice, even handled some with skinny's up front...

small block with air conditioning option springs might be a good choice.
