TH350 kickdown cable blockoff?

I've got a manual VB TH350 and the kickdown cable is not hooked up to the carb but leaks at the mounting to the trans. I've tried to reseal it a couple times and now just want to delete it. Is there a blockoff plate or plug available for this? A link would be great help. Thanks.

I think TCI may have these also.

I use a short 8mm sholdered bolt and a nut and pack the hole with RTV and mine is dry. or you could thread the hole and stick a pipe plug in it.

tap and plug with a 1/4 pipe plug is what i do
