Starter Question

Are all LSX starters the same? My '05 came starterless, need to pick one up. Ebay has some ok looking ones that seem to be for fbodys only.

I'm wondering if I switch to an Fbody flexplate I can run one of those. I already have the flexplate sooo maybe its worth a shot.

go on ebay and type in Silverado starter. Their are a bunch of them at a fair price, they bend you over on the shipping though.

However i would beleive they are all the same, but would like it confirmed. I think they would be because ive never heard about a starter issue and alot of guys are building big inch iron block motors for f-bodies using 6.0 truck blocks.

My buddy at GM stays all the mounting pads are the same. I have the truck 6.0 flexplate and also the fbody 5.7 flexplate so Ill be covered either way.
