Slicks w/o screws

Can I do it? 29.5x10.5s on a 10" rim low 40 60's. Will the DR glue trick work? New rims and don't really want to since I plan on DR next year.

You can run rim screws with D/R's, you just need twice as many.

I'm running high 1.2x to low 1.3x 60's with no rim screws.

No, never. I run 18 psi in both the D/R tires as well as the bias ply (stiff) slicks.

I've never run a pair of slicks that low in the 10+ years I've been racing.

We were turning Q/T Pro 2-4 inches every pass at only 10.40's
We had to do screws before we turn it up went 9's on the motor.

Several of your customers are running rim screwed D/R setups on stock tryp suspension. Most are around 8.2 @ 168 or faster.

I figured after I get the tire on the rim I'll clean the soap off and air it up. I just haven't ran slicks in so long Todd. I was also running my dr between 17 and 19

I'm not running dr this year. I got new rims for the back and don't wanna drill holes in them since I'll be using a dr next year. I ran dr before and I just don't have the budget for new rear shocks yet.
