i have a 1980 malibu and i want to get shocks for it. i was going to get bilsteins because i want the car to handle well on the street but how would they be for now and then drag racing? are the adjustable qa1 shocks any good for the street then can i adjust them for drag racing? any help would be great thanks

The QA1's will give you a lot more adjustability than the Bilsteins, BUT if you're gonna drag race I'd get the double adjustable over the single because you want to be able to adjust the compression & rebound independently. IIRC, the singles adjust both at the same time. Unfortunaltely, they're not cheap & eventually will require a rebuild if you street them a lot.
