Maybe I'm testing this switch wrong?

I have one power in terminal, and when I place one terminal of the ohmeter to the power into the switch, and the other to the green wire, it still tests as an open circuit. Im about ready to burn this pile to the ground though. More trouble than it's been worth for the past few years.

Check your tail light fuse with a test light.
You win.

I checked it, I swear... When I pulled it though, it ws melted.
Kind of bittersweet. On the one hand, I spent HOURS chasing down a fuse, BUT it was just a fuse.

Glad you figured it out. Make sure to use the correct amp rated fuse for the circuit, If you run a 30 amp fuse on a shorted tail light circuit you can do serious damage (melted wires) to the related wiring before the fuse blows. I deal with auto wiring on a daily basis for the last 15 yrs.
