I noticed that the headlight switch on the Father/Son Malibu is kinda' flakey. Sometimes the instrument lights will not work, but if you jiggle the knob, they will come on. I'd like to replace it. I did some searching this morning and found switches at the parts store websites. I noticed they don't have the shaft with the knob installed. I haven't really looked that closely at the switch. Is this something easily removed from the old switch and installed on the new one? Here's a picture of the new one:

If you flip the switch 180º from the picture you'll see a little button-looking piece with a spring under it.

Pull the switch to the 'on' position, push that button, tug a little and you should feel it come out a hair more (possibly all the way, I don't remember for sure, only done it once or twice), release the button & complete removal :)

Thanks, that was fast!

I figured it was something simple. Like I said, I really didn't look at it that close.
