I am installing a T-5 using a 90 Camaro bellhousing with the hyd slave cyl. I am changing from a 700r4 and the full length headers that I was using will not clear the slave cyl. The car is a 80 El Camino with a 350 sbc. Has anyone out there made this trans swap? Anyone know of a header that will work using true duals?

This might be a little late, being you already have your hyd system in place, but when I installed a 4-speed(ST-10) in my car, as well as a 6-speed(Richmond) in my friends Monte, both of us used a Ram hyd throwout. Using shorties in my car and full-length in his, neither of us had any exhaust clearance issues.
