data logger ? ? ?

I have read some of the posts on here that talk about data loggers. I am curious about them and know nothing. What all is involved with setting them up and what kind of info do you get? Also, an idea of cost would be helpful. TIA

I bought my RPM Performance logger thru Neal Chance converters, check out their site http://www.rpmperf.com it has the correct pricing and available options. IMHO it couldn't be easier to install and setup. Best 750 bux i've spent so far...I bought a basic and an oil and fuel pressure sensor.
