I put my battery in the trunk. Now my question is how to route the positive cable up to the starter. I was going to route it under the carpet. My fear of running it under the car was cutting or nicking it and shorting it against something. How did you guys route yours?

In the event of an unexpected short that wire will get exceptionally warm and could set your carpet on fire.
