Those huge runner heads will be aweful on a stock bottom end.They are better suited to 500+ inch or 7000+rpm engines.On a hydraulic cam low compression short block,it wont run well at all.You would have poor fuel metering and poor low speed drivability. IMHO not a good purchase for a budget build. The peanut heads are pretty ok for the time being. I would do a 208-214@050 cam around .475-.500 lift.good to 4500-5000 rpm.dual plane intake and a 750 vac sec carb and enjoy the torque.
